  8.      I wrote the Mechanical Desk Reference after a day of work 
  9. looking for my reference books that contained some of the simple 
  10. and often used equations and data used in engineering.

  12.      The program, written using GFA BASIC will easily supply you 
  13. with information regarding drills, screws, english to metric 
  14. conversions, gears, and geometric calculations.  Reference 
  15. information and formulas that would be hidden in various books are 
  16. consolidated into this one program.
